Here are some facts about me to help you get to know me!!

1) I absolutely LOVE tacos. They literally make me feel so happy. My favorite taco place in town is Nix Taco!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) I use wayyyy to many exclamation marks! But I love using them!! When I re-read my writing I always take a few out. A plain old period just seems so boring.

3) I get super excited for New Years and back to school! They are a time to have fresh starts and to reflect and create new goals!

4) I’m fascinated in learning about the brain and how it works. Recently I was blown away learning about the Reticular Activation System! What’s crazy to me is that our minds are not always on our side! But it was not designed to make us happy- just safe. What our minds do not realize though is that we are no longer cave people running from Sabre Tooth Tigers. We need to learn how to control our mind and not have it be the other way around.

5) The dog park is one of my happy places! Seeing all the dogs play just makes me smile. I love meeting the owners too and seeing the relationship between them and their dogs..jpg)
My son Jaxson hates being in pictures and definitely hates being in them with me! In this photograph created by my husband, Jaxson refused to be in the pics. I was nonchalant about it and just grabbed Makena! See what happens after just a few frames! Pretty much melted my heart! Boys!
