San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photography!

 

After meeting in college and falling in love, Marie and Matt decided to leave the East coast and pursue their dreams in California! On a gorgeous day in the famously stunning San Francisco City Hall, the two privately sealed their fate by taking each other’s hand in marriage. We were honored to be chosen not only as their wedding photographers but as their witnesses as well- an exciting first for us!

San Francisco’s City Hall was completed in 1899 after 27 years of planning and construction.  Sadly the building was completely destroyed during the 1906 earthquake.  The current building is slightly different than the original yet still a beautiful landmark. The structure’s dome is the fifth largest in the world.With big smiles and a few butterflies Marie and Matt waited for their number to pop up.

The wedding was all of 120 seconds!  Short and very sweet but this duo will be having their full blown wedding day filled with friends, family and wedding day formalities back East next year!

Marie and Matt were so amazing to photograph.  Their love for each other and their giddiness of being newly married shined through on each image!Marie had a special bouquet created by her Aunt, a picture of Marie with her late mother was carefully placed on the lace that held together the stems.

I loved Marie’s dress with its delicate details and vintage style, she looked amazing in it!I loved working alongside my husband Greg as he directed and created video footage! Watch his video to see this San Francisco City Hall wedding come to life!
