Welcome to our home Baby Parchino!

Who can resist a baby kitten?  Not us! Especially when it is an Orange Tabby! Welcome to our home sweet Parchino!

Parchino was feral and was raised by Janel, a woman we met camping back in April. Janel volunteers for the El Dorado County shelter raising the baby kittens til adoption time. We became Facebook friends and she started posting pictures of this kitten as a tiny baby and our hearts just melted! When it was time for adoption we couldn’t say no.  Thank you Janel for all the work you do for kittens!

Naturally, with a new baby in the home, I had to make a pop-up baby studio to document the sweetness of our little fur baby!

Here is a little behind the scenes, of course, big sister Makena watched very closely and was a great photo assistant.

Finally, the shoot was over and the snuggling continued!  We had a feeling Makena would love the new kitten but we had no idea that Makena would love on Parchino like he was her own baby! Makena naps with him, licks him, follows him and plays with him ALL DAY LONG!
